BURARU CHURCH OF UGANDA
Bulindi Archdeaconry
The Bishop was invited to celebrate at the closing service marking
Buraru's 100 years of Christianity. It was a beautiful day.
This was one very long parade. About a mile from our destination, we were met by the Diocesan Brass Band. As we progressed slowly, hundreds of people joined the parade. It took about an hour before we finally got to the church.
The parish priest and other Christians waiting to greet the Bishop.
Bishop Nathan laid the foundation stone for the new house
for the parish priest.
This man leaped from his seat when the Archdeacon asked for those
who wanted to accept Jesus Christ. We celebrated with the angels
over this one soul who was saved that day.
