 As we approached this church, Bishop Nathan expressed surprise at the sight of this building. Last time he visited, they met under tarpaulins. During the service, he challenged the members of the parish to be one of the 12 churches to be officially opened in 2014.

This LC1 was instrumental in providing 10 acres of land for the parish to build. The Bishop told him that if he were not Muslim, he would immediately give him a third letter of Lay Reader! 

 Mothers Union members have important roles in the life of the parish.

There are 22 daughter churches in Mwitanzige parish.
